Give us each day our daily bread
Matt 4:4 Jesus answered, “It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.

daily bread
Luke 11:3
As part of the Lord's prayer, this bit made me think about how we need to eat everyday to stay alive. We can't survive a whole week just by eating one day a week. [Although, I wonder why I cant, given the amount I seem to be storing on my thighs, tummy and chin!] and so it is with drawing from God - wonder why I often think I can live without refuelling on His Word and His wisdom, guidance and presence regularly. Each new day is a gift from Him and I need Him to show me how to live it!
